What Customers Say About Unplugged:

This is like record but way smaller and some guy sings on it. Not sure who it is though

LOL. How could this guy be the best.

I had heard that this was one of the greatest guitarists of all time. And not only that, but it was an MTV special, and MTV is always right.

I saw this on the shelf at Wal-Mart, and I got excited. I'd like to see him try to play Through the Fire and Flames or have riffs as hard as Nickelback's.

Could this guy be more awesome than Herman Li.So I played this, and once it was over, I immediately broke the CD in two. Eric Clapton's moniker, Slowhand, is fitting, as he plays slowly, with no shreds or epic guitar solos.

In one of the songs, he starts being emo about his dead son, who jumped out of a window, probably after listening to his father's music. For good guitar music, I recommend Dragonforce, Korn, Limp Bizkit, or Nickelback.

This is a great album live all great songs every time I go in my Vehicle I am listening to it all the time, rocking good album,Erick is one cool dude. Thanks Amazon fast delivery. vince

This disc would have been even better if Clapton would have performed the material solo, much like the legendary Bluesmen he so greatly admired used to do, day in and day out. "Malted Milk", "Walkin' Blues", "Layla", which he was able to successfully alter to fit an acoustic setting, "Nobody Know You When You're Down & Out", the classic made famous by Bessie Smith and later covered by an aged Scrapper Blackwell, and "Tears In Heaven", are all exceptionally great tracks. This cd is worthy of its reputation, and is the last great recording by Eric Clapton. However, he has admitted in interviews that he is not a good enough musician to do what his idols did. "Hey Hey" is not one of Broonzy's better songs, so I'm not sure why Clapton chose to record it. "Old Love" is mediocre, but "Running On Faith" is wonderfully done. For those of you who doubt this, simply look up interviews with Eric Clapton done by Guitar Player magazine. This is also the reason that his tribute record to Robert Johnson was not done alone.

It's Eric Clapton - intimate and unplugged - playing some great blues and acoustic rock. Does life get any better than that. Everyone needs this CD.
